According to the Pāli and Chinese versions of the Brahma Saṃyutta, Brahma Sahampati is the most senior of Brahmas in the Brahma world; and Brahma Baka considers himself immortal, his Brahma world eternal, and no others superior to his Brahma world. The two Brahmas are consistently found in the Pāli and Chinese versions of the Brahma Saṃyutta.
See pp. 184-6 in Choong Mun-keat, "A Comparison of the Pāli and Chinese Versions of the Brahma Saṃyutta, a Collection of Early Buddhist Discourses on Brahmās, the Exalted Gods", Buddhist Studies Review, vol. 31.2, pp. 179-194 (2014).

Re: Miscellaneous Photos
One of the three photos (the middle one) posted above seems to show a few Brahmas (not just one) are talking to or asking the Buddha for something they want!
Is it correct understanding about the photo?

Re: Miscellaneous Photos
I think it's just artist impression.
Nevertheless, I think the 1st and 3rd picture refering to Ayacana Sutta. While the 2nd picture refering to the prologue of Mahasamaya Sutta, where there are four Suddhavasa Brahmas come down to Earth to greet Lord Buddha with verses.

It seems Brahma Sahampati and Brahma Baka may not belong to the realm of Mahabrahma, but belong to the realm of Suddhavasa (the Pure Abodes), which is a group of the highest Brahma worlds (i.e. the five highest Rupa worlds, consisting of Aviha, Atappa, Sudassa, Sudassi and Akanittha). But the texts do not say so!?

Baka Brahma is in the realm of MahaBrahma Devaloka. Brahma Sahampati is in Suddhavasa (but I'm not sure which realm) according to Theravada tradition. In the Pali canon, Brahma Sahampati was an Anagami and will gain Arahatship and subsequently attain Parinibbana in Suddhavasa heaven...while Baka Brahma is not Anagami.

I guess both Brahma Sahampati and Baka Brahma by now have already attained Arahatship and then Parinibbana. I really hope they could still provide support for those who follow and promote the Buddha-dhamma in the world!
