Re: Miscellaneous Photos
Love those stairs! Mindful, walking meditation + good exercise.
Re: Miscellaneous Photos
I really appreciate this photo. It reminded me of a time when I came out from a meditation retreat session when the full moon was up. After the session, I was on my way to retire at my residence looking at the full moon next to a Burmese style pagoda while the bliss from the ended meditation session was still reverberating. Totally other worldly!Lucas Oliveira wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2018 3:45 pm

A true master of knowledge has passed beyond all that is known and become dispassionate towards all vedanās.

Thank you. I've visited here. Lovely people. I believe they form the Triratna movement.retrofuturist wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2009 12:01 am Greetings,
Blogger won't let the picture be embedded in this post, but this link has a picture I took in the Shrine Room at FWBO HQ in Bethnal Green, London. It's interesting how the facial features on Buddha rupas often in time come to reflect the facial features of the locals.

Thank you for sharing this photo.
This is really a nice Buddha image photo. Really love it. It gives me a peaceful vibe. Set it to my phone wallpaper too.
I hope can get a HD photo of it.

I don't know what it is, but there is something about this Sadhu...something I can't really put into words...
"He, the Blessed One, is indeed the Noble Lord, the Perfectly Enlightened One;
He is impeccable in conduct and understanding, the Serene One, the Knower of the Worlds;
He trains perfectly those who wish to be trained; he is Teacher of gods and men; he is Awake and Holy. "
--------------------------------------------
"The Dhamma is well-expounded by the Blessed One,
Apparent here and now, timeless, encouraging investigation,
Leading to liberation, to be experienced individually by the wise. "

Looks to me like a westerner with a sun-tan, long hair, a beard and a turban and some jewellery, who's staring into a camera.
