Hello my friends.
Let's share how we imagine other beings of Saṃsāra!
Use this as a reference: https://www.accesstoinsight.org/ptf/dha ... /loka.html
Here are how I imagine some of them:
Petas
Four Great Kings and Sakka
Yama Devas
Devas Delighting in Creation
Unconscious beings (asaññasatta)
Peerless devas (akanittha deva)
Fourth Jhāna. Anagamis' realm.
Infinite Space devas
Infinite Consciousness devas
Nothingness devas
Neither-perception-nor-non-perception devas

How do you imagine beings of other realms?
Eyes downcast, not footloose,
senses guarded, with protected mind,
not oozing — not burning — with lust,
wander alone
like a rhinoceros.
Sutta Nipāta 1.3 - Khaggavisana Sutta
See, Ānanda! All those conditioned phenomena have passed, ceased, and perished. So impermanent are conditions, so unstable are conditions, so unreliable are conditions. This is quite enough for you to become disillusioned, dispassionate, and freed regarding all conditions.

Hindu art is beautiful.
Saw earlier this illustration of Gotama cutting his hair. Very beautiful.

“Knowing that this body is just like foam,
understanding it has the nature of a mirage,
cutting off Māra’s flower-tipped arrows,
one should go beyond the King of Death’s sight.”

Personally I don't like it. Its too idealistic. I prefer art that has more realism to it. Art that shows how the Buddha likely would have looked. For example, it would be nice to see some art where he was an old man.Hindu art is beautiful

One of the frozen realms.

Re: How do you imagine beings of other realms?
That isn't realistic. The Buddha wouldn't have that hair. He would be bald.confusedlayman wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 3:09 pmhttps://docs.google.com/document/d/14aF ... KCV-GiRMPc

I think he is depicted like that due to the eighty minor marks.Ceisiwr wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 3:42 pmThat isn't realistic. The Buddha wouldn't have that hair. He would be bald.confusedlayman wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 3:09 pmhttps://docs.google.com/document/d/14aF ... KCV-GiRMPc
His hair has the colour of a dark shadow.
His hair is strongly scented.
His hair has the scent of a white lotus.
He has curled hair.
His hair does not turn grey.
He has fine hair.
His hair is untangled.
His hair has long curls.
Eyes downcast, not footloose,
senses guarded, with protected mind,
not oozing — not burning — with lust,
wander alone
