Buddhist Comics

Dear Friends in Dhamma,

It seems some countries (not Canada 😞) have Buddhist comics or graphic novels. Thailand, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka, I believe. The art in these tends to be of very good quality, as exemplified below. And the stories contained are straight from the suttas. (Imagine picking up the story of Bahiya instead of the X-Men! I only seem to be able to find scans on Pintrest, and was wondering if anyone knows where one can find scans or download these?

Metta and peace,
Bowing and thanks,
Upasaka Abhaya

A few Burmese Buddhist comics for children, probably in both English & Burmese. Some are Burmese-traditional legends.
scanned pdfs
pali words are spelled in Burmese pronunciation.

e.g

Buddha's life in Brief

11 Great Parittas

Great. My pleasure.

However, a bit of parental guidance may be needed because some are written in humorous tone, some are literal translations of Burmese idioms/"modern slangs", and some spelling/grammar errors

There is an entire series (like 2o large volumes) of graphic novels by Osamu Tezuka called Buddha, which tell the story of the Buddhas life via the pali canon. It is quite incredible and I always wonder why it doesn't have more popularity with theravadins and particularly their children. Its great art.
