MN 143 and SN 55.26 seem to be about same occurrence, whereas in one case pain dies and in the other case person dies. In MN 143 person dies and reborn as a god.
In SN 55.26 there is a verse what says 'remembering the instructions of the Buddhas' seem imply person has died, is para
