Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu cakkhuñca pajānāti, rūpe ca pajānāti, yañca tadubhayaṁ paṭicca uppajjati saṁyojanaṁ tañca pajānāti,
i presume that consciousness is not going to be purified, but there is different consciousness what is purified(parisuddhi) and is liberated.
