Does anyone know a shop in Thailand selling extra large jiwongs?
I'm a newly ordained foreign monk in Thailand. The jiwongs ("jiwong" is the Thai word for the single-layered outer robe. Not the sanghati. Maybe "civarang" in Pali?) available in shops in Thailand are a bit small for tall foreigners such as myself. Apparently other tall foreign monks have gotten extra large jiwongs from specialty shops, but no one here knows where to find a "Big and Tall and Ordained" shop. I tried a 230cmX350cm jiwong and it fit perfectly.
Sadhu!
