covid vaccine: yea or nay?

Covid Vaccine
Had my 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday, as the date was brought forward. Had 6 weeks between rather than 12. Didn’t feel the injection at all this time. Arm is aching a bit but not as bad as last time. Apart from that feel pretty good. Felt a bit groggy this morning but that’s worn off now.

Hope it proves beneficial to you

Same, no side effects, my wife had to come home from work after her second with a very high temperature and was in bed the whole day.Ceisiwr wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 2:20 pm Had my 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday, as the date was brought forward. Sounds similar to what I generally experience from a flu vaccine...Ceisiwr wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 2:20 pm Had my 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday, as the date was brought forward. I declined my jab, but then changed my mind (I'm glad I wasn't too rude to the lady who phoned me to offer it!) I got the Oxford one on Thursday. Mild flu-like symptoms on Friday, but had I still been in employment I would have gone into work.
I don't feel any compulsion to buy lots of Microsoft products, and world government still does not appeal all that much. I guess that kicks in after the second dose...

Re: Covid Vaccine
Me and the wife are both double vaccinated/moderna. Only minor side effects.
Hundreds of millions of doses of the vaccine given worldwide. Not one scientifically confirmed death from the vaccines but at least 2.6 million deaths from covid. I'll take those odds any day.

Re: Covid Vaccine
Its not "science" anymore. Its not science when 2 million old people are deemed to die of Covid but when the old people die after getting the jab they are deemed dead via old age.dharmacorps wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 9:11 pm Hundreds of millions of doses of the vaccine given worldwide. There is always an official executioner. If you try to take his place, It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood. If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.

Greetings,
Broader discussion on such matters is permissable at Dharma Wheel Engaged.
Metta,

Arguable points from both sides, for sure, but not what this topic is about.DooDoot wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 6:07 amIts not "science" anymore. The BBC reported today on Europe's AstraZeneca jab decision-making. I did not read the article, but one sentence quote my attention:
In this one sentence, they epitomized the story of the pandemic.
https://www.bbc.com/news/health-56360646A number of countries have decided to suspend use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine as a precaution following reports that some people have suffered blood clots after being given the jab.
But is it a case of being too cautious? Are these governments missing the bigger picture?
In this one sentence, they epitomized the story of the pandemic.
