Uttarakuru lifestyle in jambudivipa?

Post by confusedlayman »

I think there are 4 human realms .. is it possible to live lifestyle has uttarakuru humans without attachment and sleeping on floor etc? Its like video game where the charecter can roam anywhere go into any buildings and drive any car as no one is owner of anything and can travel anywhere without worry about relations etc... is it possible to do in jambudivipa(earth)?

No. because it only works if everyone is similarly not attached to their possessions. Which we aren't here on jambudibupa. Closest thing to something like that is some old native american tribes or other remote small village tribes and the trial they did in the former USSR.

In Jambudīpa we have millions of homeless people who live in most respects like the humans in Uttarakuru, but with the difference that they don't usually possess the Uttarakuru humans' contentment. Actually even when Uttarakuru humans move to Jambudīpa they can only retain their contentment by bringing some of their Uttarakuru creature comforts with them. For example, when Sakka arranged for Jotiya to be married to a young maiden from Uttarakuru, the bride insisted on bringing her wish-fulfilling magic saucepan with her so that she wouldn't suffer any gastronomic hardships.

Do they uttarakuru humans still live? Is it outside earth? Surely its not tibet or mongolia or kashmir as they are inside earth and dont satisfy criteria to their lifestyle

Since we can't see them, there's no way to empirically determine if the Uttarakuruan humans are still alive. We just assume that they are, in the same way that we assume there are still living beings in the deva world, the Brahmā world, the hungry ghost realm, etc.

More to the point, we can see Tibetans, Mongolians and Kashmiris, which means that they belong to Jambudīpa, the one quarter of the human realm that is visible to us, as opposed to the three quarters (Uttarakuru, Aparagoyāna and Pubbevideha) that are invisible to us
