how many suttas untranslated?

Post by confusedlayman »

in access to insight website they say some suttas are not available in English and is it they were untranslated???

how will English reading sutta people understand the untranslated sutta?

who will translate and when? maybe untranslated sutta give more insight than translated one?
I may be slow learner but im at least learning...

May be present on Suttacentral, & pts versions ... e.g. Nimokkha Sutta SN 1.2 (not found in the main list on ATN); Interestingly, it is found on ATN in Samyutta Nikaya (An Anthology) by Bhikkhu Ñanananda.

I believe ATI was "frozen" some years ago. The translations and articles are not being added to, but access is preserved.

As SDA says, your best bet for anything not on ATI is Sutta Central:
