Looks to be a splendid Dhamma book! Here are two quotes from the Preface:
… “Bhikkhus, I do not say that final knowledge is achieved all at
once. On the contrary, final knowledge is achieved by gradual
training, by gradual practice, by gradual progress.” … (MN 70)

… “Just as, bhikkhus, the great ocean slants, slopes, and inclines
gradually, not dropping off abruptly, so too, in this Dhamma
and discipline penetration to final knowledge occurs by gradual
training, gradual activity, and gradual practice, not abruptly. This
is the first astounding and amazing quality that the bhikkhus
see in this Dhamma and discipline because of which they take
delight in it” … (AN 8.20)
As Dhamma Wiki puts it:
Ānupubbī-kathā: 'gradual instruction', progressive teaching; given by the Buddha when it was necessary to first prepare the listener's mind before speaking to him on the advanced teaching of the Four Noble Truths. The stock passage e.g. D. 3; D 14; M. 56 runs as follows:

Then the Blessed One gave him a gradual instruction - that is to say, he spoke on generosity dāna, on morality sīla and on the heavens sagga, he explained the danger, the loss and the depravity of sensual pleasures, and the advantage of renunciation. When the Blessed One perceived that the listener's mind was prepared, pliant, free from obstacles, elevated and lucid; then he explained to him that exalted teaching particular to the Buddhas Buddhānam sāmukkamsikā, that is: Suffering, its cause, its ceasing, and the path.

Good and evil have no fixed form. It's as easy to turn from doing bad to doing good as it is to flip over the hand from the back to the palm. It's simply up to us to do it. Master Hsuan Hua.

More from the Preface by Bhikkhu Cittajayo:
As we all know, Buddhism has successfully become
teaching that is accepted by many people around the world.
Buddhism became one of the religions with the most significant
number of followers, and still firmly rooted in some parts of the
world. All of this is inseparable from the role of our Great Teacher,
who earnestly preached His Dhamma for forty-five years.
Our Great Teacher is the best teacher for those who need to
learn, the best tamer for those who need to be tamed. He taught
the Dhamma that was good at the beginning, good in the middle,
and good at the end, with correct words and meanings,
and revealed the holy life that was complete and utterly pure.
After receiving His teachings, many of His disciples became
convinced of Him and didn’t depend on the teachings of other ascetics.

And some of his followers left the worldliness under His protection,
then realized for themselves the truth of Dhamma. Therefore
often, our Great Teacher is very respected and feared by
other ascetics, even considered to have “conversion magic.”
Good and evil have no fixed form. It's as easy to turn from doing bad to doing good as it is to flip over the hand from the back to the palm. It's simply up to us to do it. Master Hsuan Hua.
