Yes, it's best to avoid taking medicine if there is safer way. For the elderly especially, and for most of us wishing to help put an end to this pandemic, vaccines is the safer way than catching COVID, based on all we know so far. If some weird side effects emerge after a while, that can change the entire discussion. It is, however, very unlikely, given how many people have had it already. We are also in a Public Health emergency with hospitals at capacity or beyond, with people receive suboptimal treatment and others not getting the surgeries they need. So there is that.cappuccino wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 2:00 pmList of withdrawn drugsSpiny Norman wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 10:46 am And in any case, medicines have to be approved for public use by regulatory bodies.

So you think covid vaccines do long-term damage? Like what, exactly?cappuccino wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 2:00 pmList of withdrawn drugsSpiny Norman wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 10:46 am And in any case, medicines have to be approved for public use by regulatory bodies.

Spike protein is very dangerous, it's cytotoxicSpiny Norman wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 5:10 pm So you think covid vaccines do long-term damage? Like what, exactly?
Come to think of it, all bits:Ceisiwr wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 7:24 amWhich bit?Kumara wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 1:38 amI think you need to fact-check that.Ceisiwr wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 7:36 am
Medical trials always involve the government for oversight and independent panels. If data has been fudged it can’t be hidden for long. This is what makes medical science so robust, and why alternative medicine is always rejected as being nothing more than a placebo effect.
Even accepting the claim that the spike protein is dangerous, an infection is bound to produce a lot more of it than the vaccine, right? Then why not take the lesser of the two evils, given than one is bound to be infected sooner or later?cappuccino wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 6:12 pmSpike protein is very dangerous, it's cytotoxicSpiny Norman wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 5:10 pm So you think covid vaccines do long-term damage? Ah, OK. On the basis of what?
Interesting point about the vaccine just staying in the arm muscle where it's injected, I didn't know that.Dan74 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 8:21 amAh, OK. On the basis of what?
This article and many like it point to the opposite:

perhaps it does not stay in the armSpiny Norman wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 10:14 am Interesting point about the vaccine just staying in the arm muscle where it's injected, I didn't know that.
Do some research if you're not convinced.cappuccino wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 3:06 pmperhaps it does not stay in the armSpiny Norman wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 10:14 am Interesting point about the vaccine just staying in the arm muscle where it's injected, I didn't know that.
I don't know

I must rely on whispers and clues
Like random people posting on the internet? Good luck with that.cappuccino wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 5:28 pm I think research is biased, media is biased
