Saddle chair

Post by Petri »

Hello,

Does someone know if a saddle chair is good for meditation? I have never sat one so I wonder how stable is the posture when sitting on a saddle chair? Will it require any level of activity to maintain the posture? (activity that could hinder the meditation)

For the enlightenment, the posture is not really not relevant. However for meditation you must be able to maintain your posture for a certain time period. Say half hour to one hour. I do sitting meditation in a couch. Myf feet are fully in contact with the ground and can keep palms together.
