Hello all, i share this knowledge, it will help celibacy practitioners and non celibacy practitioners. I had found it very useful. It will eliminate extreme lust, and in the long run is really useful. I found it some weeks ago and it works well. Also it will help porn adicts.
Also for computer
Step 1-. you enter google.com
step 2 you select: settings
step 3. you select: search settings
step 4. you select: safe search
step 5: you select: filter explicit results
step 6: you click blue button: save
I am currently using "stay focusd" plus the google chrome option, both are free, also there are more apps, but i feel comfortable with this.

Re: How to block adult sites
So technology will eliminate lust? Hmm.
The lustful mind will find what it goes looking for regardless of things like this. Eliminating lust via the method of the Buddha is an inside job. Only way technology can help is to turn it off as much as possible.

Re: How to block adult sites
you should not force yourself to stop looking
you should be aware of the foulness
then you will find yourself looking less and less

Don't you think that watching another man screwing a beautiful woman that maybe you happened love to see is kinda a HUGE turn off. It's like ewww....
I will say just grow up, man up, and talk to a real person or make friends instead of watching strangers do things on screen.

even looking at pictures of girls is evil
from a Buddhist perspective
Re: How to block adult sites
That is wrong. That would be extremism.cappuccino wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 1:54 ameven looking at pictures of girls is evil

We are not monks. Just laymen with five precepts.

It is necessary to distinguish between evil (pāpa), and unwholesome (akusala).cappuccino wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 1:54 am even looking at pictures of girls is evil

From a Buddhist perspective, all kinds of sexual activity are unwholesome kamma, but it is not evil unless it transgresses the precepts that have been undertaken. It is unwholesome for a lay person who should observe five precepts, but evil only for someone who has undertaken eight, ten, or monastic precepts. Even affection is unwholesome, as it leads to suffering. Loving-kindness (metta), however, is wholesome.
Do Not Do Evil Repeatedly
“If a person commits evil, let him not do it repeatedly;
he should not delight in it, for the accumulation of evil is painful.” (Dhammapada verse 117)
The Elder Seyyasaka
The Venerable Seyyasaka became discontented with the monk’s life. His co-resident, the elder Lāḷudāyī, advised him to masturbate to relieve his sexual frustration. Then the Elder Seyyasaka fell into the same offence repeatedly. The Buddha reproved him and uttered the above stanza.
For a lay person, sexual misconduct means sexual relations with the spouses of others, with minors, or with monastics; and rape, sexual abuse, etc.
