Say if after undertake to observe five precepts in theravada tradition , later re-take precepts in other tradition ( mahayana / vajrayana) or even hinduism or taoism , would the previous five still effective or valid ?

Taking the precepts is easy, keeping them is the hard part.

I know and anyone can undertake 5 precepts on their own but the query is theravada didnt accept mahayana monks as real buddhist monks then why undertake under them , i may be wrong in this .
