I guess the precept regarding incorrect speech, but depending on your motivation I would have thought it a very minor breach.

I tried to create a trading website and needs address verification so I put old address and gave my old bank statement (still using that bank) registered to old address as proof as I dont have present address proof in my name as I live with parents now

If it is a financial trading website, for stocks or securities, then this may be a more serious issue as they need your information in case you default on investments. So, this is potentially fraudulent (false speech). Also if you were doing it to dodge financial repercussions, it could be a 2nd precept issue too.

Actually , if the residential address and correspondence address are to be differentiated .
Sometimes , they only needs your corrrespondence address but they have your identity card number , phone and email for verification . Depending on the matters . In my country peoples registered their company under address of rented office or shop or property but the business is not directly link to the address . There are quite a number of grey area .

If you did it intentionally. I think it sounds like you are being deceptive, which i think falls under false speech/lying.

It is cheat (wrong livelihood)

cheating on exams = cheat

if your intention is to cheat,
it means breaking (part) 5 sīlā.

like cheating on a test,
Does it violate the 5 sīlā? No!!
However, cheating is not good.
Bahagia Tidak Harus Selalu Bersama

C'mon dudes... you are ignoring the intelligence itself by posting these "ctrl c are breaking of precept" or "gives false address breaking of..."
First of all, cannot get nothing of good giving your real address for peoples you dont know.
Second, data on microcomputers can be multiplied infinitely.

So, dont neglect the intelligence itself. Get the mind of Buddha, not just the words.

I choose the middle way, how about you?
