Is giving money to camgirls a good way of practicing generosity?

No, it's not a good way of practising generosity. There is not much benefit in that.
The Buddha taught if you gave to a dog, you would get a small benefit.
If you gave to a person, you would get a little more benefit.
If you gave to a good person then much more benefit.
If you gave to a Buddhist monk or someone practising the dhamma then really a lot benefit.
If you gave to an enlightened person, enormous benefit, huge benefit!

So try to find the most highly dhammic person you know, and practise generosity there.

(Also, If you must watch porn, save your money and browse free videos instead of wasting cash on camgirls.)

You are purchasing a service, so it's not necessarily giving, it's trading.
There is only one battle that could be won, and that is the battle against the 3 poisons. Any other battle is a guaranteed loss because you're going to die either way.

Bro. Obviously not. You're encouraging them and their bosses to continue the business; you're sustaining it.

If you have to ask before doing something, you most likely shouldn't do it.

The onlyfans website announced that it was getting rid of pornographic content. Then they reversed their decision once they realized how many of their content producers were depending on that income. I'm not saying this is a good situation, but here we are. You don't have to pay into it, however. I suggest looking for a good microloan website to support small business.

Paying a camgirl for your own pleasure isn't generosity. Giving money to a friend to buy services would be closer.

Or just throw out the generosity angle and enjoy the show.

It's a pity they don't have cam-monks, or you could donate to watch them keeping sīla.

Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

Vinaya issue.

1. Monks can't accept money. So let's say it's the monastery and the anagarika who sets this up to earn donations.

2. Monks aren't supposed to sleep consecutive 3 nights under the same roof with lay men. This is to keep some distance as there will be times when the monks are not inspiring, you can see monks are still humans.

3. Only sanghadisesa offences need to be informed more publicly, the other lesser offences can be confessed to any one monk. Yet, monks aren't supposed to simply tell lay people about offences of other monks.

I had a good laugh!
We beings here assembled, whether terrestrial or celestial, salute the Accomplished Buddha, honoured by gods and men. May there be happiness!
