Therefore it doesn't "literally" say that "sampajāno" is "viditā", like you claim. Maybe we should get Sam Vara in here to teach to you English.
How to be mindful while reading or studying

But it does, per below:
And how is a bhikkhu clear comprehending ?
Kathañca, bhikkhave, bhikkhu sampajāno hoti?
It’s when a bhikkhu understands feelings as they arise, as they remain, and as they go away.
Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhuno viditā vedanā uppajjanti, viditā upaṭṭhahanti, viditā abbhatthaṃ gacchanti.
There is always an official executioner. If you try to take his place, It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood. If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.

And I suppose the word "clock" means "gears" because the definition of a clock is a bunch of gears that rotate in order to tell the time. Right?DooDoot wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 8:55 pmBut it does, per below:And how is a bhikkhu clear comprehending ?

Suttas are precise teachings and not for driveling in sloppy vague generalisations or guessing. For example:
(44) Others will misapprehend according to their individual views, hold on to them tenaciously and not easily discard them; we shall not misapprehend according to individual views nor hold on to them tenaciously, but shall discard them with ease — thus effacement can be done.

Let's strawman an irrelevant argument out of thin air based on a random word and claim to know the dhamma, that will make us feel good about ourselves.DooDoot wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 9:26 pmSuttas are precise teachings and not for driveling in sloppy vague generalisations or guessing. The strawman is claiming the suttas teach there is a sampajana without sati.

Re: How to be mindful while reading or studying
You keep shifting topics so much that you sound incoherent and seem mentally ill. Even from the get to, you claimed I misunderstood sampajanna when I never even gave my opinion or definition of it, and then when I posted the sutta, you copied the same argument you wrote last year on stackeexchange saying that I believe in that argument of awareness vs knowledge (which no one here even disputed to begin with). It's as if you have this imaginary person in your head who you see as your target and you project that person onto people on the forum, and then you attack it, literally an actual strawman.
It's quite concerning how many mentally ill people are on this forum.
