Assistance with a Thai-English translation of chants

Post by Chotiwaro »

One of my task as a newly ordained monk at my all-Thai wat is to transliterate the Pali chants in the book below from Thai to English (Roman characters).

It would help me immensely to associate the table of contents in Thai to the titles of Pali chants in English.
Example: ถวายพรพระ --> Verses on the Buddha's Joyous Victory but in other Thai books it's titled พุมรชัยมงคลคาถา
That's confusing also.

Also, if this book is online somewhere it would be even better. I can run the Thai-Pali though a translator and come up with a phonetic English-Pali that I can understand and then print out. Although I read some Thai, I'm not fast enough to keep up with the Thai monks.

Thanks อนุโมทนา :anjali:

Hi,

Do you still need help?

I can read thai and pali. But can you provide a reference for the chants in English version?

I'm good. In the last three and a half months we've used the book once that I can remember.
I disrobe at the end of the month so this isn't a priority.
Thanks!
