The dog analogy is also a bad analogy for trying to explain why airplanes run on kerosen and cars run on gasoline. Context is what determines weather an analogy is good or bad. Some people need it explained like at the kindergarden...

Is this what you do all day long? No wonder you are confused.

:namaste:
How do you measure the intelligence of a baby that can't walk or talk and the intelligence of Albert Einstein ? :juggling:

I guess some just can't estimate it in any way...

You won't be able to help even the kindergartens by using flawed analogy.

I think dogs are pretty stupid.
Why the hell would they be able to bark all the time?
Barking all the time:
God dam Stupid.

There you go, that's a start.

No Mind is probably still trying to figure out weather he is smarter than a german shepard or not, since he has no way of accurately measuring that. :D

When I was in High School the teacher said I was disruptive to the class, and made me get an evaluation.
Turns out, I have a very high IQ. Also, I piss off stupid people. And arrogant. I accept that.

But, don't think of myself as totally smart. Just that normal people are stupid.

Most german shepherds I know have better life and health insurance than me

I am most probably stupider than them

It is my innermost wish to be reborn as a pet dog with good owners .. something like this .. in this samsara .. endless life and death .. I want 10 years free from worry .. I want to be born as a dog with good owners

I have heard of police dog not police cat.

Cats are selfish. Cats do not recognise their owner

Let alone thieves they are scared of cucumbers

Nice banter, but you're deviating from the topic.

Context ... not things like wind, sea temperature, precipitation, etc. I don’t know whether or not you made this spelling mistake intentionally, however if you did, it is a sign of low IQ. Whatever race you belong to is shaking it’s head right now.

Since this started with a Sam Harris discussion, here is an interesting one between Sam Harris and Charles Muray about the problem:

Race determines skin color, eye color, hair color, height, weight, muscularity, slow and fast twitch muscle percentage, facial features.

Race does not determine IQ, virtuousness and anything connected to nāma

nāma depends on upbringing and past life Karma.

It seems genetic because intelligent parents lead to good upbringing and higher intelligence in offspring and that perpetuates itself down generations

That is why blacks in USA will not improve their IQ as long as they diverge away from mainstream US culture .. call themselves DeShawn and Shanice instead of David and Susan, have weird hairdo, listen to strange music and have Michael Jackson as an idol instead of General Colin Powell

Asian American IQ will rise because they lean into the US mainstream instead of opposing it.

Ex-Governer of South Carolina, Nikki Haley, is actually Nimrata Randhwa from Amritsar Punjab. In less than a generation she has become more American than most Americans and is the US ambassador to UN

While she leaned into US mainstream

They leaned away

Safe to say it will appear that Nicki Haley's kids are genetically gifted
