I enjoyed that one back in the day.

Great movie. For me it was an hour and a half meditation on (mostly) dukkha. The Tibetan mandala part was my favorite anicca reminder.

I saw it four or five years ago at a special screening and was acutely embarrassed on behalf of the guests of honour, two Tibetan monks. Whoever chose the movie either didn't know much about the very explicit sex in it or didn't know much about being a monk. :embarassed:

If that hadn't interfered with my reaction to it, I would have enjoyed the movie for its great locations and photography (and in spite of its rather simple-minded and predictable story).
