His name is correctly "Bartók Béla". Surname is the first, and the first name is the second, all names are in the reverse order. He emigrated from this country to the US, like many other. He was a very small and weak man, but bringing a heavy dictaphone on his back, recording the folk music.aflatun wrote:

Alright I know I said "paint it black" would be my last one, but here's another (that I am in fatt listening to right now, as with all the previous ones)
This one most accurately describes my overall situation over the past several years, assuming you apply some dramatic irony to the lyrics

Paint it black is a very meaningful song. I possibly understand your feelings. Sometimes when I look at the sun, it seems to be black. White is black for me when I am down. No one wants to listen to happy music when feelings are negative. I try to listen to blissful Buddhist chants, but it just don't represent my mood. But negative or craving music gives some relief.gelatinous_cube wrote:Last one for me
I don't really know what is the solution.

For me, the solution has always be to confront my negativity directly. What frustrates me is when people try to comfort me with false comfort, or even deny that there is negativity in me in the first place. That's what the lines about "summer clothes" remind me of. I know what kind of person I am, I am not even particularly ashamed of who I am or think I am a particularly bad person, but it does me no good to have people look on me with favor that's based entirely on delusion.oncereturner wrote:Paint it black is a very meaningful song.
