Sounds like Buddhism for $300, Alex
Sounds like Buddhism for $300, Alex
“Monk, the property of light, the property of beauty, the property of the dimension of the infinitude of space, the property of the dimension of the infinitude of consciousness, the property of the dimension of nothingness: These properties are to be reached as perception attainments.[2] The property of the dimension of neither perception nor non-perception is to be reached as a remnant-of-fabrications attainment. The property of the cessation of feeling & perception is to be reached as a cessation attainment."[3]

If you didn't care
What happened to me
And I didn't care for you
We would zig-zag our way
Through the boredom and pain
Occasionally glancing up through the rain
Wondering which of the
Buggers to blame
And watching for pigs on the wing
- Roger Waters

Oh! Look up the “Jeopardy” game show. The name of the host is “Alex Trebeck”. And “Sounds like Buddhism” could easily be a category on the game show.Sabbe_Dhamma_Anatta wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 11:17 amThe title alone is just too deep for me.![]()

Also. It’s like a quiz show. So it has questions (“answers” to be precise). And every answer has a dollar value. You have to listen to the answer and come up with the question.
So the phrase, “Sounds like Buddhism for $300, Alex” would be a “answer” a contestant might select.
My title is just a silly way of referencing the game show Jeopardy because the title sounds like a possible category in the game.
I hope that helps.
