Translations of the Cariyāpiṭaka and Buddhavaṃsa

Post by Wizard in the Forest »

I wish to make an abhinīhāra to try my best to cultivate enough pāramī to cultivate my way to Arahantship or future Buddhahood but there is not a lot of literature on the Pāramī and I know the Cariyāpiṭaka and Buddhavaṃsa and the Jataka have some general guidelines, but I know of only one of those that are translated, and any time I have asked other Monastics about cultivating pāramī they usually didn't give me much to work with.

Is there a translation of the necessary liturgy and/or commentary on the 10 Pāramī I can work with?

I would like to know if you have any advice or Dhamma talks as well on how to cultivate Pāramī. If they are only on one pāramī at a time, I'd be more than happy with it too, but I need all the help I can get.

Thanks in advance!

These are wonderful, thank you for them. I am going into Venerable Sucitto's book right now.

I hope I will get some more sources to work with.

Thank you so much, these are all very helpful. I'm so glad for the help.

I'm hopeful that I will learn more about the Pāramī.
