Even arhats exist till this day. Of course there are many sotapanna, sakadagami and anagami laymen and laywomen but they will not announce their attainments unless they think it is necessary for the sake of dhamma.

The best way to verify a sotapanna (stream-enterer) is to become one ourself. It's not that hard nor easy either, The Buddha called it a middle path for a reason. When five faculties of faith, energy, mindfulness, concentration and wisdom are sufficiently developed the result of stream-entry will show itself without even craving for it.

Following the true dhamma as per the instructions of the Buddha and Noble ones is what one should focus on.

The question isn't appropriate because stream-entry is a quality of experience which of course cannot be shown to one who experiences differently. Experience has neither form, shape nor color, so how should it be shown?
Many persons might be shown but seeing the bodies of persons how could one see the quality of their experience?
