It looks like an "om" with a candrabindu, but I don't recognize the script.
What is the Uncreated?
Sublime & free, what is that obscured Eternity?
It is the Undying, the Bright, the Isle.
It is an Ocean, a Secret: Reality.
Both life and oblivion, it is Nirvāṇa.

The general shape is giving me Southeast Asian vibes, like this Thai "Om."

You could try asking the chairman of the Samatha Trust, Dr. Paul Dennison, who's a great enthusiast for Khmer and Thai yantras, mantras, tattoos, etc.

napaul(at)tiscali(dot)co(dot)uk
Yena yena hi maññanti,
tato taṃ hoti aññathā.

In whatever way they conceive it,
It turns out otherwise.

Looks like the symbol for the crown chakra

Read up on it at https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sahasrara
Like the three marks of conditioned existence, this world in itself is filthy, hostile, and crowded

it looks like the Sanskrit (although it is said to pre-date Sanskrit) "OM" orthographic character inserted into the middle of the Thai "OM" - seems redundant - maybe from a piece of jewelry etc. Where's it from?
