Do you mean about singing? So was he reprimanded by other monks? Why this monk act like this?
Perhaps this could be a Bangladesh tradition or he did not know that he is violating the monks' code (Vinaya).
I am not sure whether singing is an act of reprimand for a monk.
Someone with the knowledge of Vinaya can answer this question.

I don't know if it's in Vinaya. But it's certainly a thing that the Buddha would advice against.SarathW wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 10:02 amDo you mean about singing? So was he reprimanded by other monks? Why this monk act like this?

said to me, “Come, monk!” That was my ordination.
Staying alone in the wilderness, meditating tirelessly,
I have completed what the Teacher taught, just as the victor advised me.
In the first watch of the night, I recollected my past lives.
In the middle watch of the night, I purified my clairvoyance.
In the last watch of the night, I shattered the mass of darkness."
