Buddhābhisekagāthā
Buddhābhisekagāthā
Does anyone know any English translation of this text?
Re: Buddhābhisekagāthā
Buddhābhisekagāthā
Buddha
abhiseka = consecration, ablution
gāthā = verses
“Verses on the consecration of the Buddha”
That’s my rough translation.
“Mendicants, I do not see a single thing that, when it’s not tamed, is so very harmful as the mind. A wild mind is very harmful.”

See the book "Becoming the Buddha" by Donald Swearer.

Becoming the Buddha discusses the text, but it didn't provide the translation.
