I think the picture is not about "the Bodhisatta was invited by Devas to take final birth as Siddhattha Gotama".

Possibly the Buddha shown in the picture gave his dhamma to the Devas.

That character wasn't Buddha, look at his garment. Plus, this picture is from Thai source and often it is known as "อัญเชิญพระโพธิสัตว์" which means "invite the Bodhisatta".

These are the similar pictures.

If Buddha visited the heaven for preaching Dhamma, it would be the incident where Buddha preaching of Abhidhamma to multitudes of Devas and Brahmas at Tavatimsa Heaven. And the depiction would be different.

Where the Bodhisatta lived in the story?

So, the Bodhisatta living in Tusita Heaven was invited by devas, including Brahmā, to take final birth as Siddhattha Gotama. One of the devas, Brahmā Sahampati, visited Siddhattha Gotama when he attained enlightenment as a Buddha. The Brahmā encouraged him, the Buddha, to teach the Dhamma his discovered to humans, to the world. This is indeed an interesting and meaningful story.
