Way to butcher the language. That’s a terribly bad translation.
“Knowing that this body is just like foam,
understanding it has the nature of a mirage,
cutting off Māra’s flower-tipped arrows,
one should go beyond the King of Death’s sight.”

I quite like the translation. One dwells/resides/lives in jhana.
There is no in and out jhana, which i think is fake dhamma.
If one has understood jhana (higher realm), one will never want to get back to sensual realm (aka mara world).
One will remain in jhana in daily life till end of life.

I like it. The glorification of Pali as a sacred text reeks of Eastern mysticism and Western snobbery. Everyday and local language was praised by the Buddha... I especially like 'judiciously secluded'... it captures aspects of seclusion & discernment. It has always baffled me that a direct instruction by the Buddha i.e. to use local language has been so flagrantly ignored for thousands of years.

At work in a job can judiciously pass the time with directed thinking about jhana. I think therefore I am.
