Test tube baby fertilisation

What does that tell you about gandhabba?

This is what I found from the internet.

According to the commentary of this sutta, the use of the word gandhabba doesn't refer to a celestial Deva, but a being enabled to be born by its karma. It is the state of a sentient being between rebirths.

Probably not. It just give support that the term is a condition where rebirth occur where the karmic energies end up at a certain place.

Compare it with the conditions stated by the Buddha when test tube technology wasn't available.

There's no way to cheat kamma, or go against kamma. It just happens. Test tube baby or natural baby, the result is the same.

On a personal note, IVF (test tube baby) is a wonderful thing for people who can't have a baby the normal way.

According to Buddhist teaching, there are many ways birth can happen and fertilisation is another way.
So what eve the teaching has no impact by it.
