Hello
This is a bit obscure. I was watching a dhamma talk by Ajahn Amaro titled "Who Am I ?". IN the talk, he referred to a Budhha quote "whatever you conceive it to be the truth is always other than that". He also used the Pali words but I am not able to translate.

It’s in a few suttas, but these came to mind first:
SN 35.90
SN 35.91
The Pali is aññathā, I believe. Search it and you may find some other instances. I believe there’s an interesting one in Snp somewhere. I’ll try to find it later.
