What is Ānāpāna?

According to the post above, Ānāpānassati is to mindfully embrace the good thoughts and discard the bad thoughts, NOT breath in/out as is often misguided. This provides a refreshing view on Ānāpānassati practice. As a practitioner, I would like to inquire more understanding.

Anyone with deep knowledge on this subject cares to share their thoughts.

Puredhamma is fake news.
“Knowing that this body is just like foam,
understanding it has the nature of a mirage,
cutting off Māra’s flower-tipped arrows,
one should go beyond the King of Death’s sight.”
