Not sure, but probably so, as chocolate contains some trace amounts of caffeine and some studies have shown dark chocolate is good for the heart too.

Would you agree that green tea also is rich in antioxidents and could be a good substitute, though?
Green tea is high in antioxidants as well, and has been shown to be good for health. Matcha tea is supposedly much healthier than green as well. It's quite expensive and takes some getting used to though.
Interesting I will have to look it up, thanks for the tip!

Right now Im into the gunpowder green tea.

Nice. I've heard that a popular kind but haven't gotten around to trying it. I'd be interested to see how the process of rolling effects the taste. Right now I've been sticking with sencha.
A dying man can only rely upon his wisdom, if he developed it. Wisdom is not dependent upon any phenomenon originated upon six senses. It is developed on the basis of the discernment of the same. That’s why when one’s senses start to wither and die, the knowledge of their nature remains unaffected. When there is no wisdom, there will be despair, in the face of death.

I usually only drink water. A naturopath sold me some fancy green electrolyte, made from sea minerals, desert salts, mountain salts & chlorophyll. I better drink some; since i keep forgetting.

There is always an official executioner. If you try to take his place, It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood. If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.

Thats a nice thinkpad, homey, it is quadcore?

Electrolytes are awesome, they help stuff grow.

Anyway, I'm afraid I may start to be 'relying' on tea now for energy boosts.

I may have to try to get off tea one of these days for a week to see if I have any addiction.

Just curious because I'm not an expert on salts, but what is the difference between desert salts and mountain salts, other than where they were apparently retrieved from?

It can be really good to quit things just to know one can be free of them, not necessarily because 'they are bad'. Dependance is bad. Freedom from dependence is good. Conceit about it is not so good...

And so it goes..

This seems like quite a scam to me honestly. No offense if you're affiliated in anyway. It sounds like it's essentially just a natural mineral supplement, derived from salts, similar to this:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000AMUWLK/re ... tCbSCTN0XH

Which is even quite pricey for what you get.

Sure. My jaw dropped when I saw the internet price. I paid nowhere near that much.

I quit coffee years ago. And tea, for that matter. Anything with significant levels of caffeine.

The biggest benefit is being able to start your day without craving caffeine. I'm not sluggish or groggy before I have that first cup. I wake up ready to go.

I'm not sure if switching to tea is really going to help you, unless you use decaf tea. It might help ease the transition to not having caffeine. It definitely sucks for a couple weeks. You'll probably have headaches and feel like crap. I "quit" caffeine a few times before finally kicking it for good. But I heard from my friend's doctor that low-acid coffee is not damaging your health and also I have read a guide on this website which is really useful information for people who do not want to quit.

Other than suger or milk in coffee you wont get any energy from coffee , but it help you to hide your loss of energy and you feel like you have energy. tat is bad you unknowingly overwork your body.
and I saw Yuttadhammo Bikkhu said on ytube some people got into mental problems meditate while overdose on coffee.
It may be good stay away from foods contain addictive amounts of caffeine stimulant, even in little amounts.

Coffee increases anxiety if you have an anxiety related condition. Thanks for the inspirational insights. I think they're are other healthier ways to increase energy levels like tai chi and qi gong. Or aerobic exercise.
Take care of mindfulness and mindfulness will take care of you.

I am drinking decaff coffe, it seems it is useful for sleep, helps digestion, is good to fight cholesterol, and is good also for diabetes and arterial hypertension.
