Help with translating an inscription in Pali/Brahmi

Post by ForeverReturning »

Hiya

I'm wondering if anyone can help ...

I found an unusual metal statue of Buddha which appears to have Pali / Brahmi script in four cartouches around the base.
Some of the characters aren't entirely clear, although some, most definitely are Brahmi

I'm hoping someone may be able to help me decipher the cartouches - or even confirm if they are or aren't Pali or Brahmi.

The chances are that this object is a fake ... so I'm expecting it to be gobbledegook, or a standard phrase often found in Pali texts.

The statue is my avatar ... (though the photos I'd like to post are quite high definition and I don't think I can post anything that large - any ideas?).

Many thanks
James

Hi James,

This is a typical Thai bronze temple bell. The inscriptions must be in Thai:
