Could someone provide the complete list of Gana Sanna, Santati Sanna, etc., please?
Do you find this in Sutta or Abhidhamma?

Re: Could someone provide the complete list of Gana Sanna, Santati Sanna, etc., please?
I will try to explain it for the best of my ability.
Gana Sanna has four types. ie: Samuha, Santati, Crutya, Arammana
Samuha Gana Sanna: We see a car as one unit and disregard that it has got about 30000 parts. We perceive the car as one.
Santati Gana Sanna: We perceive things to exist for a long time. We see our body remain the same for say 80 years. We see a rock last for a long time.
Crutya Gana Sanna : ef: We see the movement of our body as one disregarding it requires many muscles to move them. We see the action as just one phenomenon.
Arammana Gana Sanna: We identify the object as one disregarding there is a collective process. When we eat a mango it has input from our nose, tongue, eye, etc
Basically, this is the self-view. (Sakkaya Ditthi) Which is eliminated at Sotapanna.
The video is in Sinhalese.

How Gana Sanna create self-view?
- Samuha Sanna sees our body as one unit disregarding it is made from many parts
- Santhathis Sanna sees our lifespan as proof of our existence
- Crutya Sanna sees our actions such as walking, eating drinking etc as proof of an existing being.
- Arammana Sanna sees our six senses as proof of an existing being without understanding they are processors.

But it is owing to not keeping what in mind, owing to non-penetration of
what and owing to concealment of what that these characteristics [S: 3
characteristics of realities] do not appear?
Firstly the characteristic of impermanence does not appear owing to not
keeping in mind, not penetrating rise and fall owing to its being
concealed by continuity (santati). The characteristic of pain does not
appear owing to not keeping in mind, not penetrating continuous oppression
and owing to its being concealed by the postures (iriyaapatha). The
characteristic of no-self does not appear owing to not keeping in mind,
not penetrating the resolution into the various elements
(naanaadhaatu-vinibbhoga) owing to its being concealed by
compactness(ghana)....
....When resolving of the compact (ghanavinibbhoga) is effected by
resolution into the various elements, the characteristic of no-self
appears in accordance with its true essential nature."
