It has been 15 yrs that i have not consumed alcohol and cannabis never.
As long as it doesn't do harm, I wouldn't consider it an intoxicant, and so not something that has to be avoided. Alcohol is essentially harmful, its something that requires at the least a great deal of caution, but cannabis is a natural remedy if used with respect and proper intention, without addiction or recreational abuse.
