Do you shred the mundane right view when you move on to the supermundane right view?
Does that mean you no longer believe in rebirth etc?

Mundane right view is taking dhamma as self... supermundane is for turning away from all dhammas. Supermundane is just an understanding to decrease desire and eliminate it. my 2 centsSarathW wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 11:51 pm Do you shred the mundane right view when you move on to the supermundane right view?

I may be slow learner but im at least learning...

It seems the opposite. The attainment is mundane right view, whereas understanding is only a utility. Had supramundane knowledge been the goal, it would not have been included in the last five fetters.
And the Blessed One addressed the bhikkhus, saying: "Behold now, bhikkhus, I exhort you: All compounded things are subject to vanish. Strive with earnestness!"
This was the last word of the Tathagata.

Short answer: No
TuduBrahma:“The insulter of noble ones, having done evil with speech and mind goes to hell. There he has to suffer for a hundred thousand Nirabbudas and thirty-six more and five Abbudās.”

No. the mundane right views are:
There is a good result in an act of alms-giving, charity giving.
There is benefit in veneration to those who are worthy
There is benefit in offering gifts.
There is the Law of Karma and Its Results which teaches that moral and immoral deeds have respective consequences, in this life and the next.
There is benefit in tending and supporting one’s own mother, while neglecting her means an evil deed.
There is benefit in tending and supporting one’s own father, while neglecting him means an evil deed.
There are unseen worlds of hell, hungry ghosts, demons, devas, Sakkas and brahmas.
There is this present world.
There is the next world or lives to come.
There are holy persons who have subdued their thought, word and deed. There are persons with jhanic insight or concentration who see this world and the next clearly. They teach such sights, views and visions in a correct way. We should have confidence in such samanas and brahmanas.
These do not go away by achieving the supramundane, although you might not cling to them anymore since clinging to views is a hindrance, you would still believe them to be true.
