Verifying all Against Sutta. Whatever they say/do/think, you need to verify it all against True dhamma. This is part of Dhamma Vicaya.

If they say they know DO or 4SP, then you would assume they know the whole part of The N8FP. So, verify from lower teaching up to higher teaching.

If you have done it, it is easy to check with your wisdom.

If you know, they say one thing, but do another thing. Then, you know they are not whatever they said they are. Confront them. An Ariya will be straight forward will not hide anything. If they avoid the conversation, then just leave them.

This guys videos scare me more than TWIM.

Although, Mr Armstrong's flashy jewellery seem at odds with his Arahantship claim as does his remaining a layman.

Whatever Bhante V got right or wrong, he certainly made people sit up. Bhante Punnaji was comfortable in being associated with him. Bhante Punnaji gave some great teachings on the Path.

The main lesson I got from Bhante V was to question tradition... but that doesn't mean I wholeheartedly jumped into his teachings.

Maybe things have changed due to politics and Bhante V's demise but I never sensed any 'dark side' to his teachings.
