Even Venerable Kiribathgoda Gnanananda of the Mahamevnava (Suttanta kind of group) claimed that he was a student of Venerable Mahakassapa.
In what way was he a student?

Last month, all the chief Nayaka theros of the three Nikayas inform the President of SriLanka formally to ban the above mentioned sects like Mivanaplane and Waharaka. Some other people complained to arrest them.

I had no idea such buddhist structure existed.
If the above text is true that doesnt sound very buddhist, a caste system?

Regards
The monastic community in Sri Lanka is now divided into three major bodies: (1) the Siam Nikaya, founded in the 18th century, a conservative and wealthy sect that admits only members of the Goyigama, the highest Sinhalese caste, (2) the Amarapura sect, founded in the 19th century, which has opened its ranks to members of lower castes, and (3) the reformed splinter group from the Siam Nikaya called the Ramanya sect.

Beside the clergy problems, Can somebody make a summary of their differences in the Dhamma teaching to know where is the problem for the Dhamma teaching?
Nibbana and Parinibbana are the same
