Thanks David!
As a token of my appreciation I may be sending you a Jets t-shirt........
It looks like both the Raiders and Jets are in the rebuilding phase with the 4-12 finishes.
Nice mala beads!
Thanks, they are sandalwood, which according to some adherents, have some spiritual significance:

DHARMAWHEEL.NET IS 10 YEARS OLD TODAY!!!

Dhamma Wheel (DWT) was established on December 30, 2008 and just 3 months later Dharma Wheel (DWM) was established on April 5, 2009.

Updated stats:

Dhamma Wheel (DWT) 491,818 posts, est. December 30, 2008

A good stat for seeing the success of a forum is Active topics. However, that is typically measured over the last 7 days, so doesn't give a long-term picture. I've seen active topics over the last 7 days fluctuate from a low of around 40 to a high of 120+ here at this forum and others.

Total members can get inflated, especially if admins, moderators don't remove spammers from the list. So the best stat in my opinion is the total number of posts over the history of the site.

As far as I know, no Buddhist forum has had over one million posts, except for e-sangha which was the only forum with a good forum software similar to this one at that time. The other forums at that time were all on google or yahoo, or other bad formats. E-sangha died about 10 years ago.

In the video in the OP I mentioned how we were nearing one million posts. We were about 59,000 posts short of that about 7 months ago . . . . until now! And this happened only about 3 days after Asalha Puja Day, which commemorates the Buddha's first teaching, the first turning of . . . . .
THE DHAMMA WHEEL!

Dharma Wheel Engaged (DWE) 5,462 posts

Total posts from all DW forums: 1,000,000

Thanks again everyone!
