And I am simply not obsessed
I would beg to differ. From my viewpoint, you are utterly obsessed with this "self," and constantly argue with Buddhists about it, always in pseudo-verse.

Self is an extreme

No self is an extreme

Not-self is the middle

That's you in a nutshell, no?

What is the Uncreated?
Sublime & free, what is that obscured Eternity?
It is the Undying, the Bright, the Isle.
It is an Ocean, a Secret: Reality.
Both life and oblivion, it is Nirvāṇa.

No-self or Not-self?

Problem is, "not-self" is a Hindu teaching. It is called "neti, neti." That translates to "not this, not that."

The self is not "this." The self is not "that." The self is transcendent and inconceivable. It isn't "any thing."

That is the teaching of Advaita Vedanta.

Advaita is no self & the self

The self is what they call no self

It’s indeed crazy…

Nope. Advaita is "not-self" and "the self." Many Vedantists note that "the self" is not in the set of "existent things." It is above and beyond "existent things." That IMO is the source of your misunderstanding of Advaita. Vedantists, because of their metaphysics concerning the self, have no problem saying that it doesn't exist.

Be honest with yourself and maybe you won't find yourself disputing my posts.

Much like you are trying to help many others realize that they are mistaken by accusing them to advocating for annihilation.
