The opposite of "have an empty mind". So the basic idea is that there would be a kind of box/container called "mind" which might be full (of whatever) or empty (of whatever). :sage:

It sounds like you're talking about the Zen proverb of The Empty Cup but that story is not Theravada.

Metta,

I have had the impression that user99 home language is of the kind that orders words differently to English. Like in French, ‘the green tree’ is ‘ l’arbre vert’ or ‘the tree green’. If so then mindful could be full mind.

I don’t know. Perhaps if user99 could say where he is from?

I think it's about being grateful and not taking things for granted. Being aware that this world is full of fakeness and suffering. No one living in this realm is actually truly happy. And it takes courage to be honest to yourself.
money is worthless toilet paper • the tongue has no bone (a person might say one thing but it cannot be further from the truth) • you cannot teach a goat math as in you cannot teach the dhamma to a dumb person
