Characters in scriptures or real life?

If it is real life, we can't really figure out since only a Buddha can exercise such judgement. We can only play guess and infer, but never absolute.

What I hear you say is only a Buddha can see the Dhamma. Because to see the Buddha is to see the Dhamma, and many have. The dhamma eye can see clearly. IMO

Dipa ma was a lay female noble person not sure what stage she reached but very inspiring character.
Take care of mindfulness and mindfulness will take care of you.

That is correct. But that particular teaching doesn't say we can verify a Magga Phala attained by ourselves.

We can infer or play guess. But we can never be absolute in this matter. Only the Buddha is capable to give the absolute judgement.
