Did you not notice that I use words like samadhi 1~8?
When a person says rupa jhana, it help to simplify identification, for communication. Whether the Buddha says rupa jhana or not, attainment 1~4 involves rupa.
You are using a sutta that directly mention rupa in element form, that is involved in jhana 1~4, explaining it as the opposite of what it meant to say, placing entire samadhi 1~8, aka rupa jhana and arupa jhana, as a wrong jhana.
"Unbroken" does not mean wrong, within samadhi; within view, yes. The direction of progressive cessation is not wrong. But your post placing it as wrong, though not intentionally!
