Child Monks in Tibet

Post by Nicholas Weeks »

The featured one in this documentary recalled his last life and in the new rebirth he sought out his old monastery:

Good and evil have no fixed form. It's as easy to turn from doing bad to doing good as it is to flip over the hand from the back to the palm. It's simply up to us to do it. Master Hsuan Hua.

In the case of sudden or accidental deaths, like his case of an avalanche killing him; rebirth can be quick and memories are strong. Plus he had been a bhikshu previously, so his practice was strong and helped him in the next life.
