Devas?!

Post by Lucas Oliveira »

According to the news, he doesn’t know the person who touched his shoulder

this happened in Turkey.

The guy in the video is a shop owner, it was closing time so he was putting his stuff back inside. in the interview he says while doing that work some guy whom I don't know tapped my shoulder and said "look behind you". I was puzzled, turned around saying "what's there" then I saw the latch coming. If that guy did not warn me the Latch would hit me and I probably wouldn't be here.

he also says he turned around to thank the guy but he was not there, as if he was vanished

Are good hearted ghosts mentioned in the canon? Hungry 'shades' abound in it. Casper the Friendly Ghost is not canon, but my ideal of a ghost.

Devas, angels, whatever intrigue me. When I read the Awakening story - I'd say we all have a huge debt of gratitude owed to them.

The Buddha awoke - said 'hells bells I ain't teaching that inferno' and a Deva, not just any Deva, intervened so that we may discuss here the Buddhas teachings.

Sadhu!

Petas are very miserable definitely a deva.
money is worthless toilet paper • the tongue has no bone (a person might say one thing but it cannot be further from the truth) • you cannot teach a goat math as in you cannot teach the dhamma to a dumb person
