Traditional Hindutva chronology places Pāṇini's birth sometime around 1300 BCE. I agree with "Form," modern chronology is much more reliable.

This version agrees with modern scholars as far as Gautama Buddha is concerned. This is because, IMO, they want to make Buddhism seem much younger than Hinduism.

This chart features the traditional chronology for the date of the birth of Gautama Buddha:

You'll notice that it's not the exact date that Wikipedia gives for the "traditional dating."

Compare to Laotze, the current Buddha has much info of him left behind that we are sure that he is a real person.
