Can someone, please, comment on the Venerable Varado's comment regarding copyright infringement and the Vinaya.

Not really, because i wouldn't buy the stuff i download anyway. i would just do without it. I'm sure many others feel the same way.

That's consistent with my views. That being said, I'm going to reconsider file sharing going forward.

It is freely given by the person uploading the file. I think you would say it is not theirs to give tho.
