Fruition Vs. Cessation attainment
Very interesting whether you believe it or not.
If you listen please make sure you listen to the full end of the video.
I wanted to stop two minutes before the end and I am glad I waited until the end.
:D

Vinnana Anidassana un-established consciousness. Non self Anatta.
There is nothing much in this video that we have not discussed in this forum but it is so striking about the humbleness of this group of monks.
Ven Pemasiri's opinion is that Unestablished consciousness is not the Nibbana.
He said a particular stanza about Nibbana but he said that he had never come across this in the Sutta.
Can you find it in the Sutta?

Satipatthana Series (001). Sati and Manasikara.
This seems to be a good video series.
Ven Pemasiri said that Sati is always wholesome.
Dana, Sila, and Samadhi were always wholesome.
This is important as the mindfulness of a cat to catch a mouse is not Sati.
Then what is Mitya Sati? (wrong concentration)
Perhaps the Sati without the right view (Samma Ditthi) is the Mitya sati.

Above the video, there is a very interesting point that I have never seen anyone discuss.
I brought out this matter in this forum and now I am glad it is confirmed by a practicing monk.
That is all four Satipathana arises at once. By practicing four Satipathana you learn to observe this phenomenon.
For instance, this is how the Daruchiriya attained with few stances from Buddha.

Another interesting point was raised in the following video.

We take body (Kaya) as suba (auspicious)
We take feeling (Vedana) as plesant
We take mind (Citta) as permananent (nicca)
We take Dhamma (mental factors) as I myself and myself. (Atta)

32 Body parts.
I have not heard a Dhamma talk on 32 body parts before.
The proper method to use 32 body parts in Satipathana.
He also mentioned this is not taught in meditation classes.
Perhaps it is practiced incorrectly which may lead to unfavorable outcomes for laypeople. (such as suicide, Psychosis )
or maybe we are quite used to seeing them in dead bodies (animal and human) so it is not a very effective meditation object.
Ven Pemasiri also tells some interesting stories about his experience.
He also talked about his cemetery contemplation experience.
Must watch. :D

With the video, it is better to know what are the 32 body parts.

Interesting discussion about feeling factor in Satipathahana.
According to him, the order is Samatha, Samadhi, Jhana, and Samapatthi.
He is also talking about walking with Jhana.

Satipathana - Cittanupassana.

Very interesting Dhamma talk on this subject and I have never heard any monk giving such a clearl explanation on this subject.
Cittanu passana is basically the 89 types of consiousness in Abhidhamma.
This is a very good video to watch who says that Abhidhamma is not Buddhas teaching.
Can you check the chart in the following article and identify what Bhante referring to ?
If you can do that you have some basic understanding in Abhidhamma.

Sathipathana - Dhammaupassana

A different interpretation of sloth and Topher.
He says that Mahamoggalana is only bodily drowsiness. (not unwholesome)

Ven Pemasiri talks about how he was fooling himself and fooling others that he was an Arahant.
It appears that restlessness is one of the major hindrances to overcome.
I do not surprise if he is an Anagami even though he never said such.

Satipathana - Dhammanupassana - five hindrances (doubt factor)
Ven Pamasiri said that even Sotapanna and Arahants have doubts but not as a hindrance.
Sotapanna has fully eliminated only the doubt about Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha.

Satipathana - Dhammanupassana - five clinging-aggregates- Rupa and Vedana
This video is about the Rupa and Vedana.
He explains how Buddha faced the unpleasant feeling factor when Buddha was injured by the stone chip as a result of Devadatta's action.
If you suffer from pain mental or bodily pain please watch this video.
Your pain will be allayed.
